Annerys Vargas is the star player of the Dominican Republic Volleyball side. She plays for the Bayamon Cowgirls
She was born in Santo Domingo.
She can spike 325 Cm and block at 315 Cm.
Her first international was against
Japan.
She has had 5 Olympics matches, 14 World Championships, 142 other
International Matches.
She has also played for Murcia in Spain, with Glinka of Poland, and some other star Volleyball names, and the Bayamon Cowgirls ( Vaqueras de Bayamón ), She is great at blocking and spiking.
She enjoys dancing and being with friends
Other sports she likes include Basketball, and Softball.
She says she feels her strenghs are attacking and weaknesses more in defence.
She is decribed as Demanding, leader, aggressive, worker, decisive.
And her ambition is to be Olympic Champion.
The Bayamon Cowgirls of Puerto Rico, are such a big team, the Bayamon entry on Spanish Wikipedia has the Volleyball team in the links. The area has 200,000 people.
Her
favourite type of food is Dominican, she likes Action movies, and the music of
Tito Rojas. She is the tallest player in the team, at the moment, in a team, of
a few 6 footers.
In July 2006 she was voted MVP in a Carribean and Central
America Volleyball tournament. As well as being the dominant player in the Puerto
Rican Volleyball league.
She is seen as attractive, one person said they would like to take her home with her in in the net, but she would be more likely to do that to him, I would like to think. I would never even think of saying something that it's against my value system entriely, but wouldn't it be great if she did it to a man.
