Cassandra Lee Busse is a 6 foot 3 USA volleyball player, her parents are Jim and Nancy Busse. She has a elder sister called Nicole and younger called Melissa. She got a bachelor’s degree for Family Social Science in spring 2004 at University of Minnesota. She enjoys horseback riding, reading, and hanging out with friends and family in spare time. She was raised on a ostrich farm. She did not know what middle blockers were till high school junior year. She says her parents are "the most amazing people in the world". Her happiest moment was when her niece was born. She lists winning Big Ten Championship as happiest in sport.
After her volleyball career she would like to own a coffee shop.
She says she would like to go on holiday to Hawaii, to relax as she has liked it when doing volleyball there.
Her fave tv programme is friends. Her fave food Ice Cream
Jen Joines, Katie Wilkins, and Sarah are her favourite other volleyball players in the USA team.
She likes being able to play for her country and travelling the world.
She would like Julia Roberts to play her in a movie, she would like a super power of invisibility if she had one, and would like to go back int time to 1800s England, to see what it was like for a week.
Busse in 2003-04 got the national respect of a America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) First Team All-America honour & Big Ten Player of the Year. In the 2003 NCAA Tournament, she got called the Pacific Region's Most Outstanding Player, doing 23 kills V the that seasons champion USC. She was sixth on Minnesota kills list ever, on 1,502. She became the first Minnesota volleyball player to receive First Team Academic All-American. And got a Golddigger Award from the Minnesota Volleyball Booster Club, for the best most positive attitude during competition she also helps to promote University of Minnesota. She and only 1 other person received a Big Ten Conference Medal of Honour for 2003-04. The highest award bestowed upon a student-athlete in the Big Ten Conference…Each Big Ten school selects a senior student-athlete who represents the very best achievements in all areas: academic excellence, athletic achievement and leadership.
She became a member of TEAM USA in October 2005
She has competed in the 2006
Pan American Cup, where America won fourth place, and World Grand Prix 7th, and
2005 World Grand Champions Cup Silver.
Against Poland on May 26 Chicago, she
got 11 points in 3 sets.
In 2000-2003 she was said to be a player synonymus with the Minnesota Voleyball team, as she was a star player for them.
She was said to be among the best players in Minnesota history, with coach Srah Wiley getting the credit for this.
In her first year in a pressure situation against Pennsylvania she let a ball go over her head as she was so nervous, but by the third year she became a established professional regarded as the best player. Said to be a dream player by some as she is best in teh teamm, and always thought she could do better.
She loves it when she can put a end to a rally by a kill, and is thrilled at her ability at this.
She was only the third Minnesota player to be a First Team All-American player. And the first to be in All American teams 4 times in a row.
She has scored well over a 1000 kills in her career. Her name is pronounced CAssie BOOsee
She has also played for Roma Pallavolo SRL, her hometown is Colorado Springs, Colorado
She can spike at 310 cm, and block at 298 cm
She has played over 23 times for the USA,

finding out she was 6 foot 3 not 6 foot 1 I thought just imagine her team walking
