Christina Benecke is a German Volleyball player, Benecke came only in the age from 14 years to the Volleyball. It began its career at the sports club Poppenbuettel. When she experienced a completely bad season in the second league with the VG Alstertal Harksheide, she stood already briefly before the career end, but could to a commitment with the TV Fischbek Hamburg be persuaded. On 2 January 1997 she gave her debut in the German national team in Bremen and experienced in the same year with the EUropean competition in her first big competition. In 1998 she changed to Vorrunden from with the DVV selection at the WM in Japan for one season to the Schweriner sports club and continued to pull afterwards to Italy, after she had reserved the fourth seat there with the EM. As Legionaerin she drove the national team to the olympic plays into Sydney (rank 6) and to its third in European championship into Bulgaria. In 2002 she after three years abroad finally wenrt back to Hamburg, where she is active to today. She celebrated their so far largest success with the national team at the EM 2003, when she won in Turkey bronze. One year she later participated in a "miracles the qualification celebrated of Baku" for the second time in olympic plays, but after this miracle of qualification the German team got ninth place. At the WM 2006 in Japan there was a still worse result despite a good Vorrunde at the end with rank 11
