Robin Colemanwas born in Houston, Texas, and in schools, did not much like sports at first as she was big, and actually fat. She was 10lbs when she was born, and reached her presnt height by the time she was a teen, so stood out.

It was in her teens that her fatter stage saw her not want to do power lifting, even though a coach wanted her to, she wanted to do volleyball, or such. A boyfriend in college persuaded her that lifting was a good sport. So she began to do this in 1995.

She went to the University of Houston ( Kinesiology / Nutrition double major )

And has also lived in San Diego, and LA

She liked the fact she was good at this sport, unlike really at volleyball, and such which did not suit her, so by very quick time, she was expanding her muscles, and says she looked good and better with it.

In 1997, after 1 1/2 years of serious training, she competed in her first bodybuilding competition, California's Border States, placing first in the novice and second in the open heavyweight division.

For a while despite finishing 2nd in a bench press contest, she partly wanted to be able to fit ionto clothes that most women wear, and partly liked her new physique, but then friends said, she was never going to be at her full potential, and fame, bi trying to get into "cute clothes".

As of this, choice, she became much bigger and this impressed so many people, she was entered to the first World's Strongest Woman.

Robin competed in the inaugural World's Strongest Woman in Zambia, Africa in 2001, where she placed third. In 2006, she began competing in figure at the Tournament of Champions, held in Anaheim. Where she was filmed on TV and appeared on BBC TV, and ESPN, as a major TV programme in the scedules. She was very happy with her 3rd place as it was soon, and she now has a website.

Coleman has also trained in boxing, mixed martial arts, and pro wrestling. She has trained with Tom Magee, a former World's Strongest Man competitor, Sammy "The Toy" Stewart, Ric "The Equalizer" Drasin, Gokor, and Robert Sherman, a former bodybuilder turned guru. She has also appeared in TV programmes with Pamela Anderson, and in some other small movies and such.

Most of the other strongest women contestants are shorter than her, but just like her stronger than most men.

Robin is also a competitive rower, with affiliations with Lions Rowing Club and California Yacht Club, both in Marina del Rey. She rows in club 8s and 4s, and Quad, Double, and single sculls. Her single shell is named the 'Equanimity'.

Originally from Texas, Robin stands 6'0" tall, and was born on March 30. She is also a trained actress and model.

In her website she calls herself the Blonde Iron Goddess. and is said by some to be the world's strongest woman, or among the world's strongest women.

She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist, and was born in the 1970s.

She has trained with Tom Magee, a former World's Strongest Man competitor, Sammy "The Toy" Stewart, Ric "The Equalizer" Drasin, Gokor, and Robert Sherman, a former bodybuilder turned fitness guru. For advertising this, in one interview she grabbed an interviewer in a head lock under her arm jokily, this man was a bout her height, and in her control, and did the same with a 5 foot 8 or so man on another programme. as a joke.
