It would be like WWF except for soccer.

Each Soccer star would dress up and have over the top dress sense.

At the end of an exciting match, a previous champion would appear like in WWF, and present his belt challenging the opponent.

In WWF when an opponent wins often the WWF champion then shows up and challenges the winner, with a loud fanfair behind him. Why can this not happen in soccer. Imagine it if Fergie has won a match, then Mourinho appears carrying the champion belt, and challenges Fergie to the championship.
