My View on Comedy, it's origin and more
In my view
My View on humour, and how I think it started.
I
have often thought that the oldest joke in the world, is the Oscar Wilde, joke,
to have been found out 2 times, is a misfortune to have been found out 3 times
is foolish, or the Shakespeare joke, An Example of Shakespearian Humour "I
am famished in his service! You may tell every finger I have with my ribs."
the joke here is that he was fat, It is ok for me to have copied that joke, as
I was a bit fat for a while,
Or the cave man joke ug ugh ugh.
My view is that humour started as a way to do with children. And spawned from the same attitude adults have to kids to then laughter. Then some used it to impress people. Also it could have been advanced from maybe a thing that possibly all animals, have a kind of minor humour emotion towards their offspring into a big brained version. Which was then advanced into a new way where the big brain then spent its energy and bored, and spare capacity, and trying to wile away hours with a brain that does not need to be used at full potential at times by inventing a more advanced humor. At times it can be used to impress people, or to entertain people.
I think people should not try to offend in humour. As if you are trying to make people laugh why not make 100% laugh, rather than 90%, and also hurt 10%. Especially when some say comedy is all in the timing if that is the case, then why not just do inoffensive jokes with good timing.
So the main view of mine is it comes from views of kids, lots of parents laugh when their kids make tiny mistakes maybe they would go mad if they did not have ability to find mistakes cut and funny if still something that should be stopped, as they would make many mistakes,
One person said, that all the best jokes are sick, a fact which anybody knows is wrong, and actually most good jokes are not, loads of sick jokes are not blah blah. And if they are why not just say a non sick joke. Another person said people should have the right to offend, they should not really see that as a right or obligation, anymore than any other bad thing is, the fact is these people usually unreservedly oppose this "right" when bv them. We should aim for not offending except against what a socialist and liberal modern view would see as a bad person, or in satire. And even then try to not be too offensive, the ternms too and such can be talked back to, who says too much, you could say etc etc, but all words can be iffy, in description and really a sensible decent society which is what we want really whatever anybody claims, would know, what that is. For people who do not we just need to tell the malicous people the addvice. Yes snobs and snide people could start caliming they know when the right time for a joke is and when not, but they normally tell the sick jokes, no this is one of those hypocrit things of nasty people then saying but who decides what is sick as if you are trying to be God, when all you are trying to do is make life happier, surely a noble goal, and the only goal and way of life there is. Other than ones which rely on the dog eat dog game theory of life, or narcisism. If you allowed any comedy, surely there is no limit to the evil that would be allowed. Any argument that says, well we just do not do anything illeagal, is amoral and vaccous, and not enough, as in that principle, you just depend, on any laws, and the laws could allow evil horrific stuff, and ban loads of decent inoffensive stuff. We should have good stuff, that is inoffensive in life, as legal and in humour, and make bad stuff illegal. Everybody knows society NEEDS limits, i,e against crime, so why not a moral compass for comedians, of not being racist, homophobic, pro bullying, pro offensiveness or any other bad. I feel free speech should not be absolute, but should be key to society, just like free movement, i.e criminals should not be allowed free movement, and we should not be allowed to go into strangers homes, its the same for comedy, but in a less restrictive way. People should not be encouraged to be nasty or unfair, and there should lets face it be some limits, like my view on free speech.
So I am saying humor shoukd be for good, yes I can not say what is right and wrong to every extent, but comedy should be what it sometimes is i.e some snobby comedian being snobby using words like loser, or weakling or using disdainful medieval style bullying of certain, groups or mocking certain looks, as I have seen in some cases. But should be fun happy and good. And at times left wing, but that is not important, as too much forced in shoe horned in politics can ruin comedy. I have not put in some jokes in comedy section as we realised they could offend vulnerable people. And it has not worsened our pages. The fact is I have read through them and some jokes lets face it are funny. There is humor in it. I am sure some jokes may offend some very accidently, or via reminding them of random unhappy events, we even tried to help people like that, and some people ho ho ho will be unhappy at the grammar, or some jokes not being funny enough, but thats their problem. This is a great comedy network, and that is that. And all comedy should be like our best jokes, which are great and fit in with our liberal isles, so we are right and best.
And maybe music comes from
other noises, that sounds nice, like maybe rain drops could siignal a good thing
so some tunes maybe are copying that beat in some clever light new way
I bet there have been over 1000 jokes, in the series each of Seinfeld, Friends, Have I got News for you and more
I am sure people agree now that nobody thinks all humour had no limits it is just a fact, I win, that debate, anybody who thinks otherwise just can't think properly and is lying, to themelves and the world. I have proven that fact, That makes this Lonympics network greatest. As the idea comedy can have anything is just steamrollered in this debate. There iws no doubt what so ever in this.
