I am not saying I believe this, of course I do not, but I like this sort of stuff. Like the film JFK, you do not have to believe it to find it interesting, and think it's great how it makes politics seem all important and cool, The same for this, and loads of conspiracy theories, and myths they are educational aids, in some ways, not really useful for teachers, as they are often lies, but are very interesting, But maybe this is true, like the stories about some animals, you know some were not sure if gorillas existed, and they did exist.

So here is the exiting prospect of Hominid Survival

Of hominids other than us moderns

Some like to believe those 3 foot people discovered by archeologists in Flores lasted from 20,000 years ago too 1700, and were killed recently

But others say they were wiped out 1000s of years ago.

Here are the most interesting statements, I read a mainstream archaeologists book, and it said, he thought Neanderthals, were wiped out, but in a throw away remark, postulated Neanderthals, still may survive in some unknown Ural Valleys, or some steepe, only seen by Russian hunters, rarely and just ignored.

This is the stuff I got from a book about mysteries written in they middle of the late 20th Century.

The most interesting theory was on the Almas, which is talked of just after this paragraph.

The next main statements said, maybe satyrs of Roman Myth were Neanderthals, hiding in steepes, pushed to extinction but lasting to very recently. There are many hairy wild men satyrs on Classical vases, and one Neanderthal item was found from the Bronze Age, although maybe this was just unfair difficulties in dating. Wild men, sightings were seen in 18thC Spain, and Poland, but these may be just people, who were sent mad by something or inaccuracies, as there is no doubt some people lie. Like that man who said he saw the Loch Ness Monster, and whether it is true of not did not, as he said so afterwards.

So the most interesting view is the idea there are wildmen in the deserts from Mongolia, too Tibet.

In 1925 a Russian Red Army force claims to have shot a man who was not a man,. a doctor,. while pursuing White Army soldiers, fearing they were Whites hiding in a cave. Could have been just inaccurate doctor's reports or lies. I mean there was allot of dodgy science in every land, and probably still are some, dodgy works, so why would army generals be any more reliable than anybody else. Researchers did research and found reports and sighting by locals, in Mongolia, and surrounding Russian lands, too the 1950s. These of course may all be myths, hallucinations, lies, or mountain men.

Khazaks in 1910 claimed to have found a sloping head man while out hunting or something, who was not human, then again it could be bizarre lies like those classical Roman stories about generals seeing satyrs probably were, I mean some things said are rubbish, A similar story was said by some Tadjiks in 1935. Some Mongolians said they saw some Reddish hair almas, sitting round a fire in 1927.

A Arabic writer in the 10thC claimed that hairy wildmen, not that human, lived in the Pamirs (where that Russian Red Army siting was) too Kashmir.

A writer said in Turkestan in the 12thC that wildmen were the next animal after humans in dominance.

This is all interesting but maybe these were just inaccuracies, I.E Scottish writers sometimes though English people had tales, in the Medieval era, and English people had terrible stereotypes about Scots in the 18thC, and Romans believed that a tribe in Sudan, who today are known for having fluffy hair, were a people with eyes in their chests.

The Story that is most interesting is Gilgamesh mentioned Shaggy hair humans in the Norths North of Iraq,

Serious Chinese anatomy dictionaries, one in the 18th Century and one in 19th Century mentioned and pictured and had a drawing of a hairy wildman species, certainly for the 18th Century existing in Tibetan areas, as if the species was a form of fauna, like yaks or wild horses.

Middle Ages Europeans sometimes believed in Wilds Men, though Not many,

1958 a man claims to have seen yeti like creatures in the Pamirs

Some more recent ones talk of Wildmen in the Caucasus existing, and some doctors whether right or long claimed to have found Neanderthal traits of remains of children said, to be of captured wilds women.

In 1913 Chinese hunters claimed to have hunted and caught a wildman, a hairy wild animal like a man, they kept for a few months before it died,

So that is that, another theory states they fell back from having flint to living without stone hunting, as of being driven by Homo Sapien Sapiens to hills.

So my view is surely there can not be wildmen, still in the European lands, And just imagine they were in Tibet and Mongolia, but hunters killed them, not bothering to tell anybody as it did not help them, and they were a threat to their livestock, Or maybe modernisation pushed the animals they hunt to extinction, like the Bactrian Camel, if they hunted them, so now they are wiped out. Or maybe some Mongolians hide their existance, out of protecting them or there a big conspiracy by other people. In reality it is likely to all be lies, mistaken sightings and such. But maybe this can inspire great fiction like lost of other conspiracy theories, and so great facts.

So if they existed they would rival the myths of yeti and bigfoot.
