A big problem is with fantasy house price league is that you might not get the information on the house prices. So how about average prices in different regions.

It could be a modern version of monpoly. Critics of monopoly say it is a good way of building up business knowledge, but that it has disadvantages in that you make money from people on the basis of luck, rather than quality of houses or development. You do not have to improve your houses, and if someone is in your area they have to visit your real estate and pay. That is not like a real business. It is just build up as much of a business as soon as possible.

This idea might be more sophisticated at teaching people real estate game

Say you buy some coastal properties as waterfront properties are often expensive. Then wait a few months, to see how house prices change.

Another problem is that it takes along while for house prices to be sold or for house prices to change. Maybe a computer version of the long term would be better. Would this be a good way of teaching people about property price investment. A new modern game, based on enconomic growth, demand, supply, regulation changes, the fact that an area might be more fashionable. Then it could based over decades. It could be real estate tycoon.

This would encourage people to learn about property prices. But would it make people too obsessed with prices. Would it encourage the obsession with house prices that some people say encourages prices to rise. And how depressing would it be if you made a fortune in fantasy league but ofcourse that has no affect on your real financial income. That is one problem I have with these fantasy gambling, or fantasy share ideas, if you win, you think well imagine if I had put real money on my predictions. Then you go into the real game and lose.

So in other words advantages of fantasy betting, shares, and house prices:

If yo win you see you lost out on doing well for real. when you were right
