Nigeria to be the Japan of Africa.
I think the best way to help Africa to develop is to create a Japan in Africa. Nigeria is a large powerful nation with potential for wealth. If we had a wealthy nation in Africa, then there would s[preading of wealth. from the nation. Yet the nation would be large enough to not be invaded by other nation the moment it got wealthy. I think we should allow Nigeria to join the EU. or atel;ast a very favorable trading partner. Subside the nation but ensure this is only on the condition Nigeria is as democratic as EU nations. Then we could have a wealthy nation in the EU. This would help logistical issues in dealing with famines across Africa,. It is not helpful that the wealthy nations are far away from many poorer African nations. In Asia, Japan become wealthy first and then wealth spread out from these regions across Asia Nigeria should be the Japan of Africa How about setting up a trade city in Africa. Like the British trade cities in Asia Free trade centres of the coast of some African nations supported by international capital. In China they had those cities set up for trade why can't we have a few of them in Africa. Off Nigeria, the Congo, etc:. Maybe Nigeria could sell a chunk of space to A European power for 20 or so eons, on condition the area is developed as a trading post then the land is handed back to Nigeria with the infrastructure in place.
I think a problem Africa has is there are not wealthy areas expect for some areas in South Africa., and that is too far from the rest of the continent. And the wealth is very ethnically based. How about setting up a [powerful wealthy democracy in Central Africa to let wealthy spread out. .Invite Nigeria into the EU. Some people might mass immigration from Nigeria so in the short term set up some migration laws in the short term. But migration would be difficult due to the cost, and you can hardly go accross the border of Nigeria to Europe. I think we need to set up a wealthy base of prosperity and democracy in Africa. Subside farming in Africa., and specifically Nigeria.
Japan had terrible division and war so, so what if Nigeria had this too. I think having a wealthy base would spread prosperity be beacon to Africa., and provide immediate nearer logistical support for famine and emergencies.
