Jennifer Joines is a 6 foot 3 inches tall American Indoor Volleyball Player. She is also known as Jen Joines. Her parents are David and Jody Joines. She also has a younger brother called John Joines. She majored in communications and business at Pacific.
She likes music, singing, dancing, rock, jazz and blues music
She says Lists mother is the individual she admires most, but her fave athlete is Michael Jordan
She is a player who at the Pacific Women's Volleyball Team, was seen as a great player, passing others players in kills, like in 2002 nearing 300 points away from reaching the kills record for the whole Team ever. So going into second place at the team's record kills.
In 2001 She was in the second team of All Americans. I.e the college select of best Volleyball Players, just as in 2000.
Then in 2003 she was selected by the American Volleyball coaches as a First All American. And took Big West Conference Player of the Year award,. Named first-team All-Big West Conference for the fourth-straight season.
She joined the US Women's Volleyball team in 2001.
2002 – she was in the Pan American Cup training team.
2003 Won bronze medal as a member of the USA Women’s Pan American Games Team in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
2005 – Front Range Tour vs. Brazil Pan American Cup World Grand Prix FIVB World Championship Qualifying Tournament (gold medal) NORCECA Continental Championships (gold medal) World Grand Champions Cup
2005. In USA Women’s National Team who
won silver medal at season-ending FIVB World Grand Champions Cup in Japan. US
finished tournament with record of 4-1. Earned gold medal as USA won third-in-a-row
NORCECA Continental Championship with a 5-set victory over Cuba. USA Women qualified
for the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup by this. Earned a gold in August at FIVB
World Championship Qualifying Tournament as US Women qualified for 2006 World
Championships.
In 2006 at Pan American Cup Team USA,
got 4th place and World Grand Prix 7th place,
Played one set versus Poland
on May 26, recording one kill Scored in every match of the Pan American Cup with
10 points V Venezuela, 13 V Argentina. Scored 61 total points at Pan American
Cup, Averaged 2.29 points per set in World Grand Prix, 11-point matches V Dominican
Republic August 16th & Brazil August 26th. Made 4 blocks V Dominicans &
Brazil.
Nancy Metcalfe of the USA Women's Volleyball team said she was the most under rated player in 2006.
Jen Joines plans to play for Chieri in Italy in 2007.
