You know like the north east, the north west. Rather than Yorkshire, Cornwall, actually choosing a real name of their region. What next will coventry be called east east west north west middle of the midlands. Why are almost all the English regions just named after position in England. It is a bit lazy Even in the USA they did not just lazily name the states north west, the north east. The middle state, with 50 states they would have run out of positions and it would not have got much state identify. If you just instead of go go Wyoming you had to say go go South east of the North West of the USA. In Wyoming V Montana derby you would have to say Go South east of north west v North East of the North West. Places need real names not locations. They could have renamed California the south west. But did they no. Why not because it would have been easy? The Canadians do not to that. OK Australia did do this with most of their states, and provinces. But it is lazy. People of the West Midlands region come up with better name how about taking one from fiction Narnia, or Melchestershire.

Coventry has a soccer side, a rugby side and a speedway side. Jack of all trades master of none would be a cruel way to describe the city in sport. But all the sides have a more than average record. But never dominated them to any real extent.
