Kasey Evering is a six foot tall Jamaican netball international. In 2006 she was still a student at Hearts Kingston.
In 2000 she made her international debut.
Her club was Tivoli Gardens Netball Club
She played against England in 2000, as well in the World Youth Netball Championship in Wales.
Her Jamaican team beat England in a tri-test series in 2006.
In 2000, she got the Carreras Award for a under 21 player.
The Jamaican team, are known as the Sunshine Girls,
She is admired for quick thinking, elevation and reflexes that worry goalshooters.
She has for instance left Jamaica at times to play at other clubs. Like for the Coca Cola Shamrocks in St Kitts, in their competitve league. She said St Kitts Netball is not as good, as the far larger Jamaica's, but she liked it.
She had to turn down a offer to play for a New Zeland club in 2006.
Jamalco are her Tivoli Gardens Netball Club's rivals at times. She
has played for the, for over 5 years.
She says "We can bounce back because it is a young team and the coach is working to make the young players into better players."
She likes music and socialising. She likes netball,
and enjoys the experiences it gives her but also seeks a day job at times.
She
says to other players, keep focussed and work to hone their talent.
She plays

Jamaica just lost to England to just
miss out on a Bronze at the Commonwealth Games. 2006.
