Born January 2, 1983 in Long Beach, California,

Keao Anuenue Burdine's family has a strong tradition of volleyball, each of her parents played then went on to coaching volleyball at high school. Her 2 sisters, and 2 brothers each play volleyball, one of her brothers plays at UCSB.

She was a essentially constant pick at USC in the Indoor Volleyball game, leading a 114-11 combined mark, including the NCAA record of a 52 match unbeaten, winning run.

The 6 foot 1 amazonian physique lady, has been a 2 time All-American, and was a first player named for the NCAA Championship MVP twice, for 2002-03. Her USC team won a couple of National Championships while she was at their at the time.

Keao was labelled a "Fab 50" selection, and was in her high school's honour roll for each of the 4 years.

Another fact is that before Burdine's senior season, and also following it, the USA Junior National Team had her as a member. Also the fact is following her freshman season in college Burdine trained with a USA A2 Women's National Phase II Team. She could also capabably finish 5th at 2002's Under-21 World Beach Volleyball Championship, Italy alongside Chrissie Zartman of the UCLA.

Also she interestingly for 2 years Keao trained amidst the USA A2 Women's National.

She started on the AVP tour in 2003, her best positions include some times finishing 9th in 2006 and 2007, 3 times actually. Her partners in Volleyball have included Nancy Mason, Claire Robertson, Tiffany Rodriguez, Chrissie Zartman, Jaimie Lee, Cynthia Barboza, and Natasha Nguyen
