Littlehampton is a seaside resort town and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It is located on the east bank at the mouth of the River Arun. The conurbation includes other settlements: Wick in the north west; Lyminster to the north; East Preston, Rustington and Angmering to the east. Wick and Toddington became part of the town in 1901.

Wick is a community in the Arun district of West Sussex, England. Originally a separate village, it now forms part of the built up area around Littlehampton. It lies on the A284 road 0.6 miles north of the town centre. The name "Wick" came to England after the Norman Conquest of 1066. The village of Wick formed around the Wick Manor. The village has an ancient Roman Brick/clay making site, (this now lies under a road called 'Potters Mead', off courtwick road). An Alleyway or Twitten that passes by the True Blue public house, is known locally as 'Dark Alley' due to the black clinker surface laid down along its route.
Lyminster is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It is located on the outskirts of the built-up area of Littlehampton, two miles (3.2km) north of the town centre. Just to the north of the village is a knuckerhole which was once, according to legend the home of a dragon, the Knucker. The church, dedicated to St Mary Magdalene, contains a tombstone, known as the Slayer's Slab, which is supposed to be from the tomb of the dragonslayer. The church has a beautiful peel of six bells, the local pub being called "The Six Bells". There is a marvellous view of the South Downs from the rear of the church.
Rustington has one of the largest number of historic buildings in the area, with The Street and surrounding roads containing some of the finest C17th & C18th Sussex flint cottages in West Sussex.
Angmering is a large village and civil parish between Littlehampton and Worthing in West Sussex, England. It is located approximately 2 miles north of the English Channel; Worthing and Littlehampton are about 4 miles to the east and west respectively. The village has a church (St Margaret's, designed by Samuel Sanders Teulon in 1852), three schools, several small shops, a post office and many historic houses from the 1400s onwards. It is in a semi-rural area with many farms.
West Sussex is a county in the south of England, bordering onto East Sussex (with Brighton and Hove), Hampshire and Surrey. The county of Sussex has been divided into East and West since the 12th century. Most settlements in West Sussex are either along the south coast or are situated in the M23 corridor. Other settlements include the towns of Arundel and Shoreham-by-Sea, and the smaller settlements of Billingshurst, Cuckfield, Henfield, Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint, Lancing, Midhurst, Petworth, Rustington, Steyning, Storrington and Pulborough.
