Hurlingham Polo Association's International Day

Location: Guards Polo Club, Windsor Great Park

is one of the the premier social occasions. It is played at the famous guards polo club, the polo club of the royal family. It is not the one of the major international polo cups. But can involve special games involving star polo players and major celebrities.

The programme has in the past included two polo matches first The Prince of Wales team. verus another side, followed by England vs another International team.

The event is held at the Guards Polo Club.

The club has ten polo pitches on 130 acres (53 hectares)

Guards officers are exempt from the playing members' entrance fee, which is £15,000 as of 2007.

There is often a crowd of upto and over 25,000 at the event.
The event has been known as the Cartier International, for sponsorship reasons.

Windsor great park is owned and managed by the Crown Estate. It is a large deer park of 5,000 acres, to the south of the town of Windsor on the border of Berkshire and Surrey in England. At present the event is knoiwn as the In 2008 the website of the event advertised the programme as

One of the premire social events of the year as well as being one of the three major polo trophies in the world with the Campeonato Argentino Abierto de Polo and the US Open.

The trophy is held at Cowdray Park, West Sussex. One of the most famous polo clubs in Europe.

According to cowdray park polo website the event was charging £ 265 + vat for people to attend for 2008 semi finals day and £335 + vat for the finals day. According to the website of the dress code was required of smart clothes. There is a Ringside marquee with exclusive garden area.

Pro-Am City Polo Championships

Location Ascot Park Polo Club (some qualifications rounds may be held at otherclubs)

Very much a event for the city. Each team must consits of atleast 3 players working in the city (AKA the Financial community) with the exception of one pro player of a maximum of 2 goals.

There is a 0-2 goal Tournament and a 2-4 Goal Tournament.

The finals of the trophy are played at the internationally renowned Ascot Park Polo club, A polo club that holds international games too. The trophy is open to qualification, but qualification rounds may be held inother areas.
There is VIP seating, prize presentations and many other entertaining activites at the event. The polo club encourages people to learn the game and holds open days for the tournament. Obviously the trophy was set up in mind for the wealthy city social network.

Regent Street Festival

A polo festival in the middle of London. Most people outside London have heard of Regent street from the game of Monoploy. But it is now also becomeing famous for a festival organised again by the Ascot park polo club. Where they truf the street, and try to encourage people to take up the game. In one year a bbc stage was provided, 300 people were taught how to play to crowds of 250,000 in the middle of Regent Street. It has been a free event.
