Many people may want to purchase property. Some may want to have high quality property. Some may want to have high quality accommodation. Some may want to rent luxury or cheap accommodation in regions. Some may want to get property or accommodation they can live in. Some may want to have property to invest in so they can develop new accommodation for retail, or residential areas.

Lodging or a holiday accommodation is a type of residential accommodation. People who travel and stay away from home for more than a day need lodging for sleep, rest, safety, shelter from cold temperatures or rain, storage of luggage, and access to common household functions.
They do that in a hotel, hostel or hostal, a private home (commercially, i.e. a bed and breakfast or guest house place, vacation rental, or non-commercially, with members of hospitality services or in the home of friends), in a tent, caravan/camper (often on a campsite). In addition there are make-shift solutions.

Vacation rental is a term in the travel industry meaning renting out a furnished apartment or house on a temporary basis to tourists as an alternative to a hotel.
Consumers unfamiliar with the concept of a vacation rental may confuse it with the seemingly similar, but distinctly different, timeshare. A timeshare can still be rented as a vacation rental should an owner decide to put his owned week(s) on a vacation rental program. Many timeshare resorts offer quarter-ownership which offers the owner 13-weeks of ownership and, therefore, more weeks to offer for rental.

A bungalow is a type of single-story house that originated in India. The word derives from the Gujarati word ban.glo, which in turn came from Hindustani ban.gla-. It means "Bengali", used elliptically for a "house in the Bengal style". Such houses were traditionally small, only one story, thatched and had a wide veranda. Bungalows today are a type of house that is usually single story or one and a half stories, and can be quite large.
