Raquel Zimmermann is a Brazilian supermodel. She attended a modeling school at the age of 14 & soon afterwards made her way to Japan. She modeled for a number of years but it was only in recent years that her icy, look really became noted & appreciated by fashion designers.

Raquel has campaigned for such brands as: Chanel, Prada, Balenciaga, Hermes, Gucci, Dior, Chloe, Max Mara, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Valentino, & appears regularly in American Vogue, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, W Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Visionaire, POP & Self Service. She also appeared in the 2003, 2005 & 2006 Victoria Secret Fashion Shows.

In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Hilary Rhoda, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Chanel Iman, & Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.
