Revolts that occurred at the same time as the French Revolution

I have surely not found all revolts during the era, but there were many here is a list.

François-Marie Arouet (21 November 1694 – 30 May 1778), better known by the pen name Voltaire, was a French Enlightenment writer, essayist, deist and philosopher.

Voltaire was known for his sharp wit, philosophical writings, and defense of civil liberties, including freedom of religion and the right to a fair trial. He was an outspoken supporter of social reform despite strict censorship laws in France and harsh penalties for those who broke them. A satirical polemicist, he frequently made use of his works to criticize Church dogma and the French institutions of his day. Voltaire is considered one of the most influential figures of his time.

Voltaire
Some people say Voltaire is a big head. I do not think he is, infact I feel that it is very wrong to say that. He was a top class person,. For instance he made the greatest attack on the class system ever. He said,
Something to do, with yes I may not be a noble, but I am, better,
Even after you have insulted, me & insulted me for not being a noble,
Fantasticlly beating snobbery, of horrible snooty people, There ids no snobbery like that from people who say you do not matter at all, as they think you are undoubtedly inferior,
Voltaire saved people across France and the world,
He was a great guy and a hero to the world,. Of freedom, and liberty,.

He was caned for returning a insult to a horrible bullying aristocrat. And jailed. A symbol of what I gleam from evidence happened to allot, not that it was mentioned in records. This effectively random opinion poll states it must have been happening allot.

The royalists who comden Voltaire make a plate of scum, look like a glass of champagne,

Here are some more random cool thoughts
I xan not belive it I heard today xats have been eating more xat food,

Voltaire, like many key figures of the European Enlightenment, was a Deist. He did not believe that faith was needed to believe in God. He wrote, "What is faith? Is it to believe that which is evident? No. It is perfectly evident to my mind that there exists a necessary, eternal, supreme, and intelligent being. This is no matter of faith, but of reason."

Rejecting Christianity, Voltaire apparently believed in God based solely on reason, and without supplementation or foundation in any particular religious book or tradition of revelation.

The name "Voltaire," which he adopted in 1718 not only as a pen name but also in daily use, is an anagram of the latinized spelling of his surname "Arovet" and the first letters of the sobriquet "le jeune" ("the younger"): AROVET Le Ieune. The name also echoes in reversed order the syllables of a familial château in the Poitou region: "Airvault". The adoption of this name after his incarceration at the Bastille is seen by many to mark a formal separation on the part of Voltaire from his family and his past.

Richard Holmes in "Voltaire's Grin" also believes that the name "Voltaire" arose from the transposition of letters. But he adds that a writer such as Voltaire would have intended the name to carry its connotations of speed and daring. These come from associated words such as: "voltige" (acrobatics on a trapeze or horse), "volte-face" (spinning about to face your enemies), and "volatile" (originally any winged creature).

I have looked on allot of internet sites for the brilliant Voltaire quote, I think it was acatually even better than this, great remark, for a time, of snobbery, even as a teengaer, when I was still trying to be a socialist like now, I thought it was great as even in my school, you would get some scumbags making fun of people for not having as expensive a this or that, just like the way the aristocracy is in a way,.

'Monsieur Arouet, Monsieur Voltaire—what is your name?' (a statement by the a bullying noble to Voltaire, to say ho ho yo0u are only a commonerm, while I insult you as being a aristocrat even though that is no achievment at all, To which the retort came quickly— by Voltaire, 'Whatever my name may be, I know how to preserve the honour of it.' The Chevalier muttered something and went off, but the incident was not ended. then teh scumbag attacked Voltaire via thugs, and had him put in jail,

Voltaire is great, yes some people have found evidence of racist in him, but he wanted Jews to be free, and wanted slavery ended whioch for such a time, makes him liberal and very unracost, actually Voltaire had a bit of aristo blood in him, not that that is good, but it was of lower rank than that horrible bullying lord who insulted his great wit. I think the quote was even better than this, what is so great, is that it is like loads of think, a racist thinking as someone is of a race they think is inferior calling that person that race, or a homophobe to a gay man, calling a man that or even people not of those gropups that name, those inoffensive things of being gay, or a race nazis think is inferior, is no crime, but being a bully is, as that noble wa,s and Voltaire said it so well, just for that bravery and heroicness he is a hero.

A sign of how crappy right wingers often are, is when people pretened to be lords outside britain and people decide to fall for them as they think they are rich, showing how bad having a aristo system is, Its like those dumb foriegners rigfht wingers who faun over them.

A typical hilarious joke, that actually can detroy monarchy, and burst it's bubble, The King has diarhea, anymore more serious inteligent stuff below even more
