Zhao Ruirui is a Chinese volleyball player.
She was born the daughter of her father and her mother, who were both volleyball players.
Zhao Ruirui is a Chinese volleyball player who competed on the 2003 volleyball World Cup winning side and made an initial appearance with the 2004 Gold Medal winning side before refracturing her right leg.
At 196cm Zhao plays a middle blocker and is a favourite of the team.

she has been compared in Japan to a Manga comic super heroine, and is popular
there allot,
Her block can reach 315cm and Spike: 326cm, she also plays for
the army team of China. and is number 8 in the National Team on her shirt and
12 in the army, her first national team selection was 1999. She has English language

When she was born the nurse looked at her, and said, she had such long arms and legs, she will be very tall. Saying she would be like 184 cm tall Lang Ping, a famous Chinese Volleyball player who helped as the ironhammer win China some titles
Zhao once said, she would like to help be the Great Wall, of China, in Volleyball blocking.
She also had a bad leg injury in 1999, but came back to be a descisive element in Chinese victories.
She used to accompany her parents to the gym when she was young, and has always liked volleyball. she had been compared to a amazon.

Update written June 2008, She started to try to train for the Beijing Olympics of 2008. There were some criticisms of the China coach leaving her behind for the 2006 World Champs in Japana, but it was so she could carry on getting stronger for the 2008 Olympics, in 2007 she was declared in the National Volleyball team for the Olympics as a Middle Blocker. The average height of the Chinese team was listed then at 1.87 Metres with her as the tallest.
