Most experts on the Yeti claim if he exists then he would be a species, that lives in the temperate forests of the Himlayas, sometimes crossing the snowy highs to get to other forests up high. Some say that they may spend some time up there, even staying in caves at times. From evidence of Sherpa spottings the view is they like to go up to the mountains.

1986 Research said the Yeti according to Sherpa reports is 165-210 cm tall; and 90-180 kg, depending on age & sex; It is covered with hair, except on face & ears.
It's calls, include shrill noises to howls, plus growls when threatened, it is said to have no fire, clothing, or art, & is said to live in caves and be omnivorous, eating, rabbits, roots, berries, bark, rodents, birds, wild goat, sheep, deer, and sometimes yaks, and cattle. And according to reports from the 19th Century which seemingly were as plentiful as now, the Yeti was fond of eating us people. Is said to have male led families with wandering males more common than females. Seems to live 10,000-20,000 feet high in Himalayas. Seems to see little of Himalayan black bear and snow leopard. They said this evidence is based on that of mostly the mountain people, with information passed down the families. The more remote the people, the more they belive in the story of the Yeti.
