Ayubia is a National Park in NWFP, Pakistan. It is a small natural park located at 26 km from the Murree hill station. Ayubia was named after President Ayub Khan. It has been developed as a resort complex from a combination of four mini resorts of Khaira Gali, Changla Gali, Khanspur and Ghora Dhaka in Galyat.
The park harbors many species of birds like golden eagle, vulture, sparrow hawk and hill pigeon etc. And animals such as the haunting Asiatic leopard, asiatic black bear, hill fox and flying squirrel. It is also home to some of the beautiful Himalayan pheasant species like the Himalayan Monal,Kalij pheasant and Koklass.
Khaira Gali is one of the tourist mountain resort towns of the Galyat area of Pakistan, it has an altitude of 2347m. Khaira Gali is located in Palak which is a Union Council of Abbottabad District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan. This hillstation was also used as a barricade by the British during the colonial period and during the summer months it was occupied by one of the British mountain batteries which were stationed at Rawalpindi during the winter. It is also famous for the hexagon manor on the highest elevation of the town it belongs to Mr. Bashir the owner of the famous Pakistani oil brand seasons canola.

During British rule it was the headquarters of the Northern Command School of Musketry Changla Gali is located in Seer Gharbi which is a Union Council of Abbottabad District, it is located 16km north from the more famous Galyat town of Murree in Rawalpindi District.

The Galyat region is an area roughly 50-80km north-east of Islamabad, Pakistan, on both sides of the NWFP-Punjab border. The word Galyat is the plural of the Urdu word gali, which means an alley between two mountains on both sides of which there are valleys and it is not the highest point in the range. Many of the towns in the area have the word gali as part of their names. These are popular summer-holiday destinations in Pakistan. Murree, one of the most popular hill stations of Pakistan, is the largest town of the Galyat area.
Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan HJ, NPk, (May 14, 1907 April 19, 1974) was a Field Marshal during the mid-1960s, and the President of Pakistan from 1958 to 1969. He became the Pakistan Army's first native Commander in Chief in 1951, and was the youngest full General and self-appointed Field Marshal in Pakistan's military history. He was also the first Pakistani military commander to seize power through a coup.
