Across history China's monarchies have oppressed it's people. With plenty of oppression and mayhem.
Every century there were deaths and mayhem, For instance, in the 17thC, and 10s of other major calamaties,
But the worst, was the century of humiliation, some say it was 1845-1945,
But others say iot was every year before 1945,
And that 1800-1945 was bad,
So I will focus on 1800-1910, then make a statements claiming the republic of the 1910s, and after showed republicanism, to be best
So the Chinese nation has had in 1800-1850s it's main gripe being massive large famines, which killed millions of people.
In the 1720s, Manchu swords, & famines kill 500000Miao,
In a terrible Chinese massacre,
In 1770, skinny Chinese famine, saw 3million die,
In the 1790s nationalism riots, burn 1000s of Puyi,
And then in a sign of bad management,The Central anti-Manchu white lotus revolt, of 1796-1804, sees 100000die, This saw the state finances worsening, in lost revenue, & costs, But the economy size peaks by 1790s, as of this & other effects,
In the 19thC, what became called a 'Sleeping giant', China finally fell; In hierarchy elitism, where it comatosed development, Long ago relative pro-equality regimes made it rule a big proportion of world wealth, Now more elitist than most, it saw servant beating regular,
With them often beaten for small errors, or even to impose discipline, for no reason,
The priestly god emperor elite led as all elitists do, And were hereditary anti-the weak, & apocalipticaly awful, Europe's traders took so much control of the ex-most advanced civilisation, By their incoming, & activities,

Though actually dragon robes, & food, was not adopted, After all, every land is a mixture of it's own & other cultures,
So this land was just seeing, Some of it's ideas added to other ideas taken from it & places earlier,
But this was first time it's culture was so read about,Other than of course small fads about Marco Polo, & some Missionaries of the past,
And to be honest get some vice versa, like some new goods, items, etc., & faiths,Spread to here,
With books, saying what French people, are like, & how the British behave,Asian ideas spread world-wide, & vice versa, too,

And even striking at Beijing, in the early 1850s,
But the rest of the war was them pushed back to their lands,
And sending small attacks outwards,
The leader became sexually corrupt, & there were few other organised leaders below,
So it started collapsing,
The revolt was ended when the royal army,
Came & smashed them, & took the capital,
Establishment racial elites,
And a army of Brits, & Americans, & French, help slaughter 20-43million, in 600 cities,
Well most of the deaths were famine, and disease, and less resurces,
In terms of a population decline,
Though much of that was as of famine,
And as of the disaster of stopping helping flood control in the 1850s,
The government decided that was to expensive & gave up on that,
Causing huge famines & floods,
They, the state & royal dynasty, execute 100000,
In the 50s Red Turban's secret-society revolt in Foshan,
Plague spread, & cholera, but cholera was nowhere near the biggest dropper,

Before 1854 there was some support from imperial powers for the rebellion,
But by the 1860s, it was all for the dynasty,
Which is when the Brits, French, & American state supported mercenaries were sent,
Who British royals adored, The British General, even said, that he supported the exterminating of certain villages, Aswell as not restricting the massacre of Nanking after his take of there, Added to the tens, of thousands killed in Nanking, The Rebels, certainly purged 1000s, in executions,
And royalists massacred 1000s in small villages, And other places, add to that,
Committing massive torturing compared to the reime, There were other revolts during the period, but they were crushed too,
Like that revolt in Foshan, a city that was burned by the rebels, Organising a anti-Manchu revolt, during this crisis,
Which occurred from 1854-56, was among the worst, Which also occurred in Guangdong,
Which was based on a secret society that was Cs, old, That helped eachother during calamities,
It involved tens of thousands fighting battles, But never developed a centralised leadership so was crushed,
It was based on traditional values, like old faiths,And also a conflict on racial grounds between Hake, & Putney,
The Hake had come a few CS, earlier,But had only got worse lands than the earlier, people of the Earth,
They were not angry at the immigrants at first as they provided man power,
But by the 19thC they had become a third of the population in many areas,
And the piratical massacres of the 1800s,
Had upped racial anger, by increasing insecurity,
They saw a revolt in the Pearl River, where they organised forts & villages,
And attacked eachother, burning eachother's bridges, to keep out marauders,
In a month 3000 people were massacred by some sides,
And in total around 500,000 died,
The race hatred saw many massacres, & the sale of many Hakka, to coolie traders,
The revolt was only put down brutally by the imperial regime in 1867,
And the race hate saw these groups hate eachother,
Even as immigrants in other lands, for a while,
With Miao, & Muslims, having may revolts in this period, on off to the 1880s,
So maybe about 10% of the deaths in the Taiping were in other revolts,
And half were of famines, that would have happened anyway,
In 1855 the Anhui plains are ruined,
As the Yangzi River redirects to Shandong, 203KM N,
Which declines, aidless,
The reason for this was,
Ss the central government gave up on spending cash to protect these schemes,
Indeed it had been reducing spending to levels,
Which made it to expensive to retain them in the 1820s-40s,
And that was when the damage was made too much to control,
