It flows from Llyn Conwy, on southern middle, upland area of the North Wales. And flows down from the Welsh speaking part of this valley, right down past Betws Y Coed, then Llanrwst, to Glan Conwy, Here it reaches the estuary, then it passes under Conwy's bridges and then out into a bay, past the Great Orme, and Conwy marina. It used in the past to be part of a river as large as the Danube, which flowed across Rhos On Sea, where Golf is played in 2006. The river is 27 Miles long from Source to discharge.
