A game of cycling, it is the last stage of the Tour De France. Gites France

The Tour De France, has this year moved to, the Alps, for the second last stage. A local council has paid for the second last stage to be in it's mountains, then you will be flown to near Paris, for the last stage, It is so the local high hotel can be opened.

At the moment this is the standing in the race.

Lalnley Ziresti (US) (Tulog team)

Sero Kataony (Spain) (Margar team) 1.54

Yourself (Polo Polo team) 1.57

Steve Porcon (Belgium) (Perto team) 1.59

Jake Mordol (USA) (Mandac Team) 9.58

Hugo Portokl (Peru) (Sherpan Team) 10.37

Mark Van Stonme (Netherlands) (Tulog Team) 14.58

Sero Potonoky (Italy) (Tulog Team) 18.00

William Shane (France) (Perto Team) 19.37

Albert Huiop (France) (Margar Team) 20.57

Your ally Jim Morksh of the US is 14th and 27.47 behind. and a good mountain climber.

The 148th rider, of 200 entrants is 3 hours and 57 minutes behind.

So only the first Four are said to be expected to be major competitors,

Anyhow so the race formation starts, and your team, has set up the plans of victory for your team. The Green Jersey for the Sprinters has already been insurmountably won, by Leo Kadazalski, of Kyrgystan,

The mountain Jersey is led by Portokl, by a small amount of pts ahead of you, with Kataony, a good time traveller a long way behind you, so a 2 horse race, unless he wins by loads. and you both do very badly. As nobody is anyway near his pts total after him.

Here is a map of the stage. Come back to this page to see more http://www.lonympics.co.uk/fantasy/cyclingmap.htm

So the race starts, your side have decided to take the race as it comes. Putting your feet into your bike pedals, and just heading off with the rest.

And of course will not try and get a break away straight away, you pass part 1, with a back of the race guy getting the first mountain points.

Now you are leading the tactics.

Do you use the long route down, to try and get a break away with your team.

Or do you try and get your team members to the front, just to watch the front in case the 3 other main teams try to get a break away.

Or do you get your team members to try and lead the race, so as to stop any chance of other teams, getting to the front, at the start, which actually would be a bad tactic, as you should have your side saving breath,

Or do you from this point try and go on a mad break away on your own.

Back to the start of the race, if you want to start again

In some moves the moves are so mistaken, (everybody makes mistakes), the game just lasts a few goes, in some you see pictures, and can win, teh closer you are to winning, the complexer the game gets, but it is easy to play, and only last at most a dozen or so pages,

,Here are some more sites, there are books and articles on the subjects in many internet places, or internet book shops, bookstores, at the bottom, are lists of which were the worst regimes of the past few centuries.
