A Cool Music site

The monster, runs towards where you were, and then you hear it howling, you look back, and see the creature must be 8 foot, tall.

It has a good sense of smell, you would think wouldn't you, and it looks up in the air then sniffs, it seems to look marginally dejected, in the split second you look back. Then it points it's nose up and starts to howl, and you hear lightening strike the lake.

And you see it stand still and growl downwards. Then the clouds move apart and the Moon, shines with increasing brightness on your area. so this picture appears in front of you, it seems to be limited again within a certain geography of the lake, maybe 100 metres away from the lake, though other lands from your perspective seem to be dark outside the area of there, but still gently lit by moonlight like any night.

But you then just get outside this 100 metre area. The next time you look back a second later it is still standing in the air, and looking around, with a kind of snide nasty smile on it's face, if a wolf can do that. But then it looks sadder, as it does not see you in the bushes or area of the light. It also seems to open and shut it's mouth as if it were saying one word every so often. From this it can be calculated the animal, has learned some words, but is not as clever as humans, as it has not made that good a plan of catching you,

You know the general direction of where you parked your car, from your compass. and you know, that on this moonlit night, you will be able to see the very high tree that was taller than any other tree around, that you were by, when you were by the boulder.

Do you now

Make your way upto the hills, to walk that way. then into heather bushes, and that way to your car, and very low down, ignoring the road, till you reach your car.

Or make yourself run along the bottom of the valley you have been on, just aside the hills. Ignoring the road till you reach your car.

Or the quickest route, along the open countryside, of the valley and then to the road.
