So you are back in the centre of the building. You have not found the vase, and following the person you felt would be guilty has not yet seen you choose a culprit.. it is the end of the day. So you get up the next day.

It is just the Sunday, and then Monday morning realisticly to find which of the guests stole the vase. It is certain it was stolen, as there was no insurance on it, or anything like that.

You and Clem are wondering if this dining room get together of all the gustes on Monday will be where you finally reveal who stole the vase.

But during the day, Dr Atkinson, is even more revealed to be not the culprit. As you notice, some varnish on his shoes, and are told by a maid, that she painted his door the night before the crime. You follow what looks like a trace of the varnish from his room, to a toilet and what seems by the steps, and direction to have been a route of him and back again. The fact that the floorboards always creek when someone walks past your room, and also in Mcdonald's room, seems to indicate he was there and to the toilet in a amount of time, that could only have seen a short trip to the toilet far away from the dining place where the vase was stolen from. Who could deffinately of walked all that far for such a slow man in such a period of time.

So your case has fallen to only 10 possible culprits, as he is the only one who was so far down that cooridoor, the others were nearer the dining room, so did not have to pass your room, twice, as he so obviosly did.

More evidence also arrives in the form, of John Ducks, stating that one of the Gregg brothers, Kirk, left the game, of poker, for about 6 minutes in the night.

Clement traces and times with a clock , if this was enough time to walk through the lovely soft carpet and take the vase, he states yes it was easilly enough time. And the most shocking fact of all, he was holding something, it did not look big enough he thought yesterday to be a vase, but now as his memory fades, he says he is not so sure. Clement wonders about this.

But you are still wondering if there are a selection of people you can really remove from the case.

You think to yourself, that there are 2 main forms of robbery, a one where you see some product and just take it, and another where you know of the item, and plan to take it. Using your great mind you realise that all the guests who are possible thieves, have been here at least once before so it was probabaly a planned robbery.

In a sense we have to admit, all the people are possible culprits.

Do you now plan to try and increase the process of the process of elimination,

Or investigate what Mr Gregg took. in another interview.

Here are some more sites, there are books and articles on the subjects in many internet places, or internet book shops, bookstores, at the bottom, are lists of which were the worst regimes of the past few centuries.
