In this election, you are running for the President of the (USA not the USA, its just a very similar country in the 1960s)United States of America, I changed the name so I could advance new ideas, into the history, but keep some bits, it's capital is still Washington, with you in the White House, if you are Victorious.

You are standing for the Democrats, against the Republicans.

The Republicans were re-elected in 1962, under VP, Dick Nixonhower, known for short as Nixon, who beat the challenger, the monicle wearing, rich person, John Felipes, Konnomhour, 53-44.

This time you won the nomination, as the young senator for Kansas, as you stood, and the other candidates were seen as tried and not succeeded, or had big mistakes.

So the first duty you have as the election, nomination is finally won by you, is to get started on the election.

You start your first speech after being chosen as the candidate of the party, after winning enough votes for the Primaries, that day.

How do you celebrate this victory,

Do you,

Have an interview with a tough talking interviewer,

Or make a speech where you attack the war in Vietnam as it has cost 17,000 US lives, and 400,000 Vietnamese lives, (Nixon had invaded at a different time, in this history, so the casualties are different)so far. You did not give a firm posistion on the war, as it was about social policies.

Or state that you support the war, and are going to stay quite conservative, in spending but have a few proposals, to improve health and such,

Or make a speech on social issues, saying you plan to complete de-segragation, and create make big investments

Or say that you virtually support all the present parties policies, but just criticise the way they are doing it.

Or say you want to be tougher in Vietnam., even though your party has big anti-war factions.

I have chosen to make this country different, as I do not really know what Americans would decide to do on the prospecvt of you saying certain things, but I know a bit, surely just like everybody, else, so this is a fun game, and entertaining game for that. I am not going to pretend Americans, are all a bunch of Nazis wantinf far right evil policies, or the reverse some bunch of incredible liberals, who just fall for the nicest person, So I am going to use evidence I know, about, But surely this is the best political game on the internet as it is in a exiting era, and about even more intresting issues than today. I have chosen the US election, as it is simpler, as it is about 2 people usually. or 3 at most, and more about 7 months, whereas the British election, is more about the whole 5 years, has more parties, and more people involved, as the whole time, mostly people know what the candidates for office are, so it would be to cumbersome, to make a game out of. Not that it is a worse system, it is just less easy to make a game out of. It is just a bit of fun, and actually in many cases maybe the reverse is true for what i would expect. I.E who wopuld have expected that the Canadian PM, in the 1990s, would get a poll boost from man handling a constituent, who would guess Paddy Ashdown would go up in polls after his 1992 affair revlations, and who would have guessed Clinton would survive the Lewinsky affair, so easilly, and be more damaged by trying to give agsy rights and minor 1990s tax rises, for the 1994 election. And who would have guessed he would win in 1992, when Bush was on 80% approvals, But it is just a bit of fun, and needed a gap in eth market, I have always wanted to play a political game, and have made one, that makes some sense, and is quite accurate, not way off. You may acheive the closest of election results, you may achieve a huge win, a disasterous defeat,
