Carol Gattaz moved to São Caetano in 1998. She started playing in the Superliga of Brazil.
She likes horse riding, barbecues, and
samba,
In 1998, this very tall lady got a second in a Junior South American Championship and 1999 saw this again in a World Championship. The tall middle-blocker also played for Rexona, Macaé Sports plus a return to São Caetano then went to Finasa/Osasco, where she won her first hSuperliga title, in 04/05. She joined the senior Brazilian team in the 2003 South American Championships and 2004 Grand Prix. Where this amazonian lady helped Brazil be the champions.
In
2005 she participated in Brazil's taking of these trophies, the Courmayeur Championship,
Montreux Volley Masters, fifth title of the Grand Prix, Qualifying Tournament
for the World Championship-2006, where she was chosen as the best blocker, the
South American Championship, where she won Best Blocker award again, then the
World Grand Champions Cup. In 2006, she won the Montreux Volley Masters, the Courmayeur
Championship, Pan-American Cup & a 6th title for the Brazilian Team in the
Grand Prix.
She has played for Finasa, recently
