There are mabye many things to do in Portugal things to do in Lisbon.
For instance you may wish to go to the coast, and sunny tourist resorts.
It is a land famous for it's sun, and also for Lisbon. Many people go an visit it to sunbathe, and to relax. Especially in the sunny south and in the major cities. Places like Lisbon, and Porto, or Porto are famous for their catsles, and old buildings. Lisbon as the capital has the parliament of this republic, where the Carnation Revolution was carried out in the 1970s. Portugal has big sporting teams like Sporting Lisbon, Benfica and Porto and Boavista and Braga. Lisbon has a population of 2.5 million including it's metropolis taking in close by areas, Compared to a population for this land, of 10.6 million.
In the 1980s Portugal joined the EU, and the democracy was fully inside Europe's core. It formed in part of the Christian states annexing of Iberia, or reconquest from Arab empires.
There are many things to do in Portugal, for instance the Algarve is famous for tourism, flip flops, and cafes, for foreign tourists, similar to the Costa Del Sol. Portugal also owns the Azores, and Maderia, 2 holiday destinations, with some distinctive foods, different to the rest of Portugal, and quite big populations.
Other things to do in Portugal include, cycling, football, walking, bird watching, canoeing, whale watching in the Atlantic, watching tv, canoeing, listening to music, skating, roller skating, hill walking, climbing mountains, shopping, shops, reading up on the history of Portugal's empire, slavery in Portugal, and all Portugal's history, Going to libraries, and also to Museums.
