Holidays to Cuba are becoming more and more of a in thing. Before Castro it was a popular destination for many, but many Castro supporters would say for the wrong reasons, and in ways not suited to a fine upstanding scoialist economy. But also the US out of political unfairness to many, as they did not do this to many far worse far mopre dictatoral regimes, put restrictions on USA tourists visiting Cuba. But again Cuba is now trying to get Tourist income, and why not. Cuba, the largest of the Caribbean holiday islands, is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination.While tourists can get health care from public clinics on an emergency basis, they are expected to use a fee-for-service health care network called "Servimed" for non-emergency health care needs. There are about 40 Servimed health care centers across the island. Many foreigners travel to Cuba for reliable and affordable health care. Tourism in Cuba attracts over 2 million people a year, and is one of the main sources of revenue for the island. With its favorable climate, beaches, colonial architecture and distinct cultural history, Cuba has long been an attractive destination for tourists. In the first part of the 20th century Cuba benefited from its close proximity to the United States. As relations between Cuba and the United States deteriorated rapidly after the Cuban Revolution of 1959, the island became cut off from its traditional market by an embargo and travel ban imposed on U.S. citizens visiting Cuba, and the industry declined to record low levels within two years.

González
Misleydis González ( Born June 19, 1978 ) is a Cuban shot putter.
Weight: 183 lbs ( 83 kg )
Height: 6’1” ( 1.86 m ) a
six footer,
Her personal best throw is 19.50 metres, achieved in August 2008 in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She is slim for a shot putter, and looks a impressive figire, and attractive, one of the more attractive shot puttersm almost slender, but strong looking. Misleydis González took up athletics early in her life, showing potential for throws, especially the shot.
She did great in the National Youth Championships, her 14.48m throw saw her enter Cuba's junior team for 1995. That junior career saw one 15.87 throw, she just failed to get a 1997 Pan American Junior Championships Havana medal though
González slowly improved and reached 17 metresin 2000. 2001 saw her winning the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Guatemala medal her first m,ajor medal.
2003 saw her hit 18 metres, retaining her CAC title in Grenada. 2004 saw her more consitent and reach further,
At the World Indoor Championships debut, Budapest Hungary 2004, she got 6th. She was 2nd to Yumileidi Cumbá, a lady who trained with her for their Ibero-American Championships in Huelva, Spain, and 7th in Athens 2004.
González neared 19 metres in 05, she won a bronze at World University Games in Turkey.
2006, saw her at last pass 19 metres, finishing 2nd to Cumbá, getting silver for the Central American & Caribbean Games in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
2007, saw her get a personal hope, the Pan American Games title in Rio de Janeiro, then a 1st World Championships final, in Osaka, she placed 11th there.
