Holiday Turkey why not have a holiday in Turkey that land far away, what a nation to holiday in. Turkey is a land that many holiday in as it is a place where holidays can be fine,. In auch a large country a holiday is a rela option. Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye) is a European and Asian country whilst some of its territories (i.e. west of the Bosphorus) are geographically part of Europe. Turkey was founded in 1923 by Atatürk as the Republic of Turkey after the war of independence. It is 780.000 square kilometres. Its population is about 69 million. Turkey's official language is Turkish. It is governed by a democracy with many parties. Turkey has 81 provinces. Turkish currency is New Turkish Lira (Yeni Türk Liras?). Its abbreviation is YTL. The capital city is Ankara, an inland city in Anatolia plateau. The economic and industrial center is Istanbul, facing on seas and formerly known as Constantinople. A holiday is a special day. The word "holiday" comes from the words "holy" and "day" and originally meant a special religious day. During holidays, people can do many things. They can travel to other places (called a "vacation" in North America) or celebrate. Sometimes on holidays people do not have to go to school or the office. Some people go tio Turkey to see the sites of a great culture, some even go to play football. I wonder if football became big as Britain was the lead trade trade power in the 19th Century, and then if as schools, startee coming about for the whole country in that era far more, if people felt football was the game to play and then if it spread on that with British people as kids playing footie when young then going not holiday abroad but as train engineers, and stuff, and then they told locals as they met them, and then locals played footy. Nopwadays many go on holiday and play football in Spanish field, or crickets or anything, or maybe it was just easier to bring a ball, than some other games. If I went to holiday in Turkey I would like to see the bazaars, maybe the cathedral, but also those unsual geograpgical formations in Anatolia, that some people have even buiklt houses in, and maybe see forts of the past, the places of there, and coastal ports.
