Dudley Castle is a ruined castle in the town of Dudley, West Midlands, England. Dudley Zoo has been located in its grounds. The location, Castle Hill, is an outcrop of Wenlock Group limestone that was extensively quarried during the Industrial Revolution, and which now along with Wren's Nest Hill is a Scheduled Ancient Monument as the best surviving remains of the limestone industry in Dudley. According to legend, a wooden castle was constructed on the site in the 8th century by a Saxon lord called Dud or Dado. A castle was recorded at the time of the Domesday Book of 1086.
Wren's Nest is an area of Dudley, West Midlands, England. Located to the north west of Dudley town centre.
Dudley College is a college of further education in Dudley, West Midlands, England. Dudley College was opened in 1936 as a single-site establishment on The Broadway, located in the shadow of Dudley Castle. Plans were unveiled to merge Stourbridge College into Dudley College. If the merger did go ahead, the current buildings of Dudley and Stourbridge Colleges would have been retained, and an extra campus would have been opened in Brierley Hill.
Russells Hall is a residential area of Dudley in the West Midlands of England. The area was extensively mined for coal during the Industrial Revolution.

is a town in the West Midlands of England, but historically in Staffordshire.
It was originally a manor composed of a series of villages: Sedgley, Cotwall End,
Upper Gornal, Lower Gornal, Gospel End, Gornal Wood, Woodsetton, Ettingshall,
Coseley and Brierley (now called Bradley, not to be confused with Brierley Hill).
