Laurie Dhue is an anchor & a reporter for the television
show Geraldo at Large, which airs Saturday & Sunday nights on the Fox News
Channel.
She graduated from the prestigious Westminster Schools in Atlanta & the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
College years
Dhue
attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she lettered in
swimming & received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a
concentration in Dramatic Arts. While at UNC-Chapel Hill, she also sang as part
of the all women's a cappella group The Loreleis as a second alto, adding her
beautiful voice when she soloed on a cover of Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry,
Be Happy" & added her strength with the other second altoes (Jean, Mary
Beth & Sarah) to a cover of Todd Rundren's "Mighty Love." Dhue also
starred in several Lab theater productions.
Anchoring career
Previously,
she was an anchor & a reporter on the Fox News Channel, where she hosted Fox
News Live, Fox Magazine & the Fox Report Weekend. Before FNC, she had previously
worked for CNN & MSNBC.
She sat for an interview with Bill O'Reilly on March 20, 2006, in which she talked about her career ambitions. A followup e-mail on the 21st suggested a title, should she ever get her own show on Fox: The Dhue Point.
Personal life
Laurie is the daughter of the former Vice
President of Wrestling Operations for World Championship Wrestling, Bob Dhue.
