Manuela Leggeri is a Italian volleyball internationl centre. She accumulated 326 national appearances, a record for a while (the previous record 325 by Manuela Benelli) but this has been exceeded by Simona Rinieri, the new captain of the national team.
She was for a long time captain of the Italian team, which gained the world-wide title in 2002 in Berlin. Recently Eleonora Lo Bianco and Francesca Piccinini and reached her level about, in appearances.
In English her name means Manuela Light.
