Margo was born in Poland, she was 55 cm long at her birth, and has been tall and long for her age ever since. She was born in Warsaw, and lioved there for a long time, some biographies say she was born in another place but she was not. She started playing basketball when she was a strapping 5 foot 11 inches tall 12 year old. She says Magic Johnson was her baksetball hero.
In her own words she says she "started to play in Wolomin, it's not far away from Warsaw and it's where I am exactly from. I started to play the "mini basket," (league), then the juniors and then when I was sixteen I moved up to my older sister Kashka's team, in Posna" She went to college in Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego (University School of Physical Education), in Wroclaw. Near the German Border. Where she majored in Sport agent and tourism.
Her nickname in Poland, was Ptys as she ate huge amounts of this cake.
Her elder sister, Kashka used to play for the Colorado Explosion of the now defunct ABL, and in Poland, but now has had a daughter. She is 6 foot 7.
Her younger sister, graduated from, the University of Texas-El Paso where she played basketball, and plays in Spain professionally in the 2000s, she is 6 foot 6.
Her favoutire food are deserts.and her fave Americanm food, Cheeseburgers.

She came to the US in 1998, and appeared on the Jay Leno Tonight show, as she was so tall, then in 1999, was drafted into the Utah Starzz.
In 2005 the Starzz swapped her for Katie Feenstra, sending her to the Connecticut Sun.
Her European career reads like this,
Dydek played for Olimpia Poznan from 1992-94, before playing for Valenciennes Ochies in France from 94-96. She then moved to Spain and played for Pool Getafe from 96-98, and moved back to Poland to play for Fota Porta Gdynia for the 98-99.
In 1999-2001, she played for Polpharma VBW Clima Gdynia in Poland, averaging 18.5 points and 10.7 rebounds in Euroleague. She was named MVP of the Polish League Finals of the 1999-2000. She was also named the best female basketball player in Europe by the major Italian sports magazine La Gazzetta dello Sport. And was was chosen as Poland's Sports Woman of the Year and has long been a member of the Polish National Team. In the seasons 2001-04, Dydek played again for Lotos VBW Clima Gdynia, which in 2002 and 2004 were runners-up in the FIBA Euroleague. In the 2004-05 season, she has played for Lotos Gdynia. She also signed a contract with Valencia. She played in the 2000 Summer Olympics.
She is said to be polite, and can speak Polish, French, Spanish, English, and Russian.
She is nicknamed Large Marge in the USA.

In 2006 she joined the Russian team Ekaterinburg, who she shall help allot.

One time somebody asked her how do you at so tall find a man in high heals, and she said that maybe she would find two.

She has been compared to a amazon, but also a giantess.
