Local news crews reported that funny noises were heard in the canal, at night and that the creature is now sleeping in the town centre.

Some members of the population have tried to use sticks to push it back in and have tried to coax it away with a lion of meat

It is felt naval shells used in a practice that accidently landed in Loch Ness may have alarmed the creature and pushed it onto the City centre.
