Aishwarya RAI was born on the the 1st of November of 1973 in Mangolore (India) and is famous model. She is also actress in the famous Indian film industry known as Bollywood. As a model she works by Vogue and a famous fizz drinks company and models famopus make up companies. She gained the Miss India and Miss World trophies in1994

After having gained the title of Miss World 1994 , the Indian beauty with green eyes gave up her studies of architecture to become one of the most popular models in India. She is the symbol of many major companies from drkinks companies , to make up , diamonds , jewelery , and magazines and film. Noticed by the cinematographic industry of Mumbai , she was starred fa debut role in Iruvar , in 1997. The same year , she gained the prize of of the best female hope for its service in Aur Pyar Ho Gaya. In 2003 Aishwarya Rai was the first Indian actress member of the jury of the Festival of Cannes.

Many say that it took Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam , to help Aishwarya show her true acting ability. Since then her careear has gone from strength to strength and she was nominated for a OSCAR. In the year 2003 Rai was a member of the jury in Cannes. In the year 2004 she was selected from the time magazines as one of the "100 most influential people of the world". The American newscast 60 Minutes dedicated a show to her as to the "most beautiful woman of the world". Later she appeared on the USA talk show David Letterman the first Indian on his show. A waxwork of her is now in London. The gossip columns often reported Rai as wanting to do international film projects , but only the British Asian director Gurinder Chadha let her play as the hero of a film in the British-Indian version of Bride and Prejudice. Variety reports Rai will star in The load Legion.
