Born in Hazell was born in Lewisham, London, United Kingdom and raised in a town which has in recent occasion goes by the name of Bromley.

Bromley is a principal town in the London Borough of Bromley, England. It is a suburban development situated 9.3 miles south east of Charing Cross. The origin of the town's name is from Old English 'broom hill'. Records of the name as Bramelewe (1272).

In 2006 Keeley was voted the year’s sexiest pin-up in contest. The 19 year old, from Bromley, Kent, took the top spot in lad mag FHM’s "Bloke" Awards.

In January 2006 she appeared on loaded magazine. She also had her very own 2006 Keeley Hazell calendar. Keeley also starred on the front cover of The Sun's page 3 calendar. At the age of 16 Keeley left school to go to work at a hairdressers cutting hair and shampooing hair, where she started as a trainee there work colleagues persuaded her to get some pictures done to try modelling. At 17 Keeley had pictures done and sent them to the daily star competition "search for a babe", which she won. To young to appear on page 3 and at 5ft 6 she decided hairdressing wasn't her line of work, and enrolled herself on a fashion course at Lewisham college.

She won page 3 idol in 2004. She went on to become one of the most known Page 3 girls and appeared in mags such as Loaded and Zoo a men's magazine.
Hazell has appeared in short film Cashback. Cashback is a short film and a 2006 film directed by Sean Ellis and starring Sean Biggerstaff. The short film was so well received it was expanded to a full length feature of the same name and is expected to have a 2006 release. On January 31, 2006 it got nominated for the Academy Award for Live Action Short Film.

She has wanted to do more acting. She has been attending a drama school on how to act.

PAGE 3 beauty Keeley says there is no truth in rumours the attack on English soccer player occured because the £60,000-a-week Chelsea midfielder had been chatting her up. The rumour was that some thug had beaten him up not that she had.
