iPhone - Mobile phone

As with much of the Apple product line this new product caused a big fuss in the internet and media. Even months before it was on sale.

The iPhone is a combination mobile phone, multimedia player, and wireless communications device announced by Apple Inc.

The iPhone will support push email, mobile telephone, text messaging, web browsing and other wireless info services. A touchscreen device will also include functionality found in iPod series of media players and runs a variant of the Mac OS X operating system.

It has a Safari internet browser,enabling internet access. Yet it is very expensive. Yet it i hoped that this device will encourage development of the internet mobile phone industry. As the developing nations are would benefit from increased quality of mobile phone internet access.

Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc., and is available as part of Mac OS X. It was included as a default browser in Mac OS X v10.3 and is only browser bundled with Mac OS X v10.4.
