Eliza Patricia Dushku was born in the north eastern city of Watertown near Boston on December the 30th,1980. She was raised as a Mormon in her hometown of Watertown, Massachusetts. She did numerous productions at the Watertown Children's Theatre.

At ten Eliza made here film debut in the movie That Night. She built up a friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio in 93.

Dushku continued to get roles, many minor, over the next few years.

Eliza lived in Watertown, Massachusetts where she graduated high school. In August 98, Eliza finalized a deal to star on Buffy and headed out to LA. Due to the fact minors can only work certain hours, Eliza has been legally emancipated from her parents, who are both college professors.

Eliza moved to the Los Angeles area with Nate, the oldest of her three brothers.
