Karen McDougal was born on March the 23rd of 1971 in Merrillville,Gary, Indiana and is an American model and actress. She is known for her picture appearances as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for December 1997 and Playmate of the Year of 1998.

She attended River Valley High School and was a cheerleader, band member, volleyball and softball player. McDougal studied tap dancing and ballet. She is a a clarinet player, being a Michigan state champion 4 years in a row at high school.

In March 99, McDougal became the first woman to appear on the cover of Men's Fitness magazine.

Playmate of the Year of 1998

McDougal appeared in TV commercials for XFL football league on NBC with the theme of "Cheerleaders".

After graduating high school in 89, she attended Ferris State University at Big Rapids, Michigan for college for 2 years, majoring in Elementary Education.

In spring of 2004, McDougal appeared in a photo spread in the Italian edition of Vogue with fellow Playmates.

McDougal advanced to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) 2004 RAW Diva Search special held at the Beacon Theatre in New York as one of 28 finalists. The special was televised live on Spike TV with a live audience on July 15, 2004.

She has a tattoo on the 2nd toe of her right foot.

She owns two cats Brittany and Brandy.
