In the last decade the mobile phone and cruise industry have both grown in size, but without a connection as mobile techbnlogy was difficult or not able to be used on cruises, recent techno advances have changed this. Case study

Crystal Cruise Lines, most commonly seen as Crystal Cruises, is a cruise ship line founded in 1988 and notable for its three medium-sized, high-end ships. The line is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the large Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line.
