Sea Scooter


A sea scooter is an underwater transport system much like a Bond style device. Designed partly by British submarine engineers, the Seadoo SeaScooter is the worlds lightest, according to the industry in 2006 the most efficient, and most affordable personal subaqua transporter. The standard battery lasts over an hour in normal use, the SeaScooter is rated to a maximum depth of 20 metres and can carry most people up to speed of 3 knots (2 mph). Comes complete with it's own carry bag, special gel-type battery and mains recharger.

Sinclar research and Daka Designs, had a partnership which led to the SeaDoo Sea Scooter, an underwater propulsion unit. Sinclair recently announced that the group will release a folding bicycle, named the A-Bike, in 2005.

A SEA-DOO can run at a speed of 2mph/3kph at a depth of up to 20m (65ft) and has built in buoyancy regulation for maximum comfort. If you were to swim at 2 mph for 1O minutes, you'd be pretty exhausted.

Engineered by Sir Clive Sinclair, the inventor of the first PC, the environmentally friendly SEA-DOO® SEASCOOTER™ is powered by a battery that lasts 1 hour and that can be recharged overnight with the supplied charger.

This type of expensive technology was never before available to the public unless you were prepared to pay a fortune, but this machine is made with up to the minute, quality components at an affordable price for any "James Bond".

The sea scooter comes with a very durable carry case, a battery charger and a battery that runs for about an hour. A long life battery is also available. An air pump is supplied to release the battery compartment cover. The body of the propulsion unit is made of injection moulded plastic (nothing to rust here) and the propellers are guarded by grills to prevent objects becoming entangled in the blades.

Scuba diving with the machine not only saves your energy but because your breathing is not as deep, you will use less air, so be able to stay underwater for longer periods.
