Lacey Turner who was born on the 28th of March 1988 in London, England, UK and is an English actress known as Stacey Slater, in BBC tv soap EastEnders. She dropped out of school at 16 to start acting, and was in a few adverts when she was younger.

She is a close friend of "EastEnders" co-star Louisa Lytton. In 2006 It was announced that she has been nominated for 2 Awards at the British Soap Awards: Best Actress and Sexiest Female. She adutioned for the role of Demi Miller, but joined the soap in November 2004. On joining EastEnders, Turner was mentored by Jessie Wallace.

She lives with her parents and two younger sisters Daisy and Lily in Hertfordshire.

She arrived in the Square to live with her extended family after her mum Jean told her she was the worst mistake of her life, and that she couldn't bear the fact knowing her own daughter was breathing the same air as her. Her father Brian had died while working on a construction site and she also has an estranged older brother Sean whose whereabouts are unknown.

Stacey always appeared tough, stubborn. She has stolen from people willing to employ her, and has also pretended that a local mugger robbed several hundreds of pounds from her as she was delivering it to the bank for her bosses, Patrick and Yolande Trueman, as she secretly kept and spent the cash.
