Ocean City Motels are often required by people who need accommodation in the city. Often by people who are travelling by road. Some may need a place to stay in the city as they are travelling throguh the city or because they may be having a vacartion in the city or they may be on cultural, entertainment, or sports visit to the city.

Ocean City, sometimes known as OC, is an Atlantic Ocean resort town in Worcester County, Maryland, United States. Ocean City is widely known in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States and is a frequent destination for vacationers.

Ocean City is on the barrier spit, which encompasses Ocean City, South Bethany, Delaware, and Fenwick Island, Delaware.

Nearby Wicomico Regional Airport provides air service for Ocean City. Ocean City Municipal Airport, located just 3 miles west of downtown Ocean City also serves as an alternate option for those with private planes.

Ocean City now extends just over 9 miles from the southern inlet to the Delaware line. The strip now supports hotels, motels, apartment houses, shopping centers, residential communities, and condominiums. The southern tip houses the famous Ocean City Boardwalk. The boardwalk is the main shopping district and entertainment area of the town. The boardwalk has many tantalizing treats to choose from.

Being on a narrow spit, Ocean City has only a single major north-south thoroughfare, Maryland Route 528, known as the Coastal Highway for most of its length, and as Philadelphia Avenue at its southern end. MD 528 continues north into Delaware as Delaware Route 1. East-west streets are numbered, starting at Division Street in the south, and continue until 144th street at the Delaware/Maryland border. Locations in the city are usually given as Oceanside (east of Coastal Highway) or Bayside (west of Coastal Highway).

Two bridges connect the spit to the mainland. US Route 50 crosses the southern bridge connects to MD 528 at Division Street. Maryland Route 90 crosses the northern bridge and connects to MD 528 at 62nd street. Delaware Route 54 can also be used to reach the Ocean City, as it meets the Coastal Highway just north of the border.

Some may want luxury motel in the city. Some may want one on the outskirts of the city. As they may want a one on the road system a few km from the city, as they maybe travelling to the city. So they may want a good price but with good quality.

Worcester County is the easternmost county located in the USA state of Maryland. The county contains the entire length of the state's Atlantic coast line. It is home to the popular vacation resort area of Ocean City. Worcester County was created by the division of Somerset County in 1742. The county seat, previously located near the confluence of Dividing Creek with the Pocomoke River, was transferred to the river port of Snow Hill, at the head of navigation of the Pocomoke, near the center of the new county.
