Real Estate Investing is something many of us do at times. I have at times considered investing my money in real estate. One thing I did was consider buying a flat inpoland, or a house, but then I thought, I want the money now, not in decades time, as I do not have that much know how, on where and when prices shall rise there maybe I should have. Another time I looked at the cheapest properties in my area, the cheaspest were garages and such. A idea I had was when I saw a 9 hole golf Course, I thought that would be great to own, it was for 20,000 Pounds, it had a club house, that a person can live in, and more, then i saw, it was only leasehold. Another one I saw was a log home .for 30,000 in a park area, I thought wow, but it turned out iot was a holiday park. and you have to leave for 1 month a yearm its a leasehold too. Oh well, there are alos cheaper cottages across Britain, one was a 30k one, in 2009, but with no electricity, would suit some people, and abandoned homes in nowhere, and land, for sale, only able to have cattle on well loads of stuff. I suspect some buy real estate like islands, and such, Real estate is often bought by people who rent it out, and try and make cash from it. Or from people who buy it, knowing somethinmg is happening in the area, where they can make money from it a load of cash. When I was in low teens I wanted to buy a flat above a shop for that, I said to parents, but they did not have enough cash to lend to me, lets face it it maybe is worth as little know as then. Also we wanted to buy a field, for no reason. Some make cash real estate investing, some do not. It is often the focal point of TV shows, like in Mork and Mindy they were selliong a house, which was haunted once. I can not real estate invest at the moment, maybe not enough cash, I need a house before that.
