Rural cottages are gfar more common than urban ones. They can be great places to stay in. Many a rural cottage may be from the very long ago past. For instance in Scotland some cottage style buildings may be old crofts, or ones used by people evicted in the Highland Clearances. Also in England some may be older than the USA, and some may be huge old barns that saw Shakespearan era actors stay in, and some in Wales may have been used by shepherds for centuiries, although most will be refurbished,. some may have TV sattelite TV, radio, and they will ahve elictricty and water, and such, and some may even have had garages added. Some may be in National parks. So rural cottages may be in along a lane, by others, or on their own on a field, or at the end of a line of trees, or off a Roman road, or near a major moterway, or near a big city but still be rural, some may overlook one. So0me may be on a island few peoplpe ever go to,. some may be very old. Some may have been stayed in by the famous, some may be in famous paintings and some on the ground ofg some. So amazing stuff, great places to stay, some are near horses and farm animals, the smell of chickens, and great rural ways.

Some may use friends cottages, and some may use ones given as gifts.
