Singapore Budget Hotels are places to stay in if you are going to Singapore. Singapore used to be famous for many hotels, I mean British forces were stationed there, and many would go to thing sthere wasnt there a hotel famous , there, the Raffles Hotel is a colonial-style hotel in Singapore, dating from 1887, and named after Singapore's founder Sir Stamford Raffles. Managed by Raffles International, it is known for its luxurious accommodation and superb restaurants. The hotel houses a tropical garden courtyard, museum and Victorian-style theatre.Singapore is a city and state in Southeast Asia. Also people used to stay there, on business trips, western usually Briotish businessmen were there, manaing investments and businesses in Asia, sometimes from skyscrapers, like they used to in Hong Kong, but now it is far more led by locals as they do the work, and have the area etc. You may be staying in a budget hotel niot as as a investor or as a diplomat but as something else. Maybe a sialor staying here on a way throuigh this major shipping lane. O rmaybe a person here, as it is a famous stopover for flights to Australia to Europe. Or maybe you are going on a tour of Asia, to Burma, or Thailand, back packing, andf are staying in Singapore for a while, or sailing to Maylasia, to climb mountains in Borneo, or see local cuyltures like the Boat People. Its main territory is a diamond-shaped piece of land that would be an island, if it was not connected to the Malay Peninsula by a man-made causeway to the north. There is also a bridge to the west. Singapore also has dozens of smaller islands.Raffles Hotel is reputedly where the sole surviving wild tiger in Singapore was shot and made extinct. Some stories place this event in the Long Bar. Raffles itself claims the tiger had escaped from enclosure at a nearby "native show" and chased underneath the hotel's Bar & Billiard Room (a raised structure) and shot to death there on August 13, 1902.

To the west and south of Singapore is the Indonesian island of Sumatra. To the north is Malaysia. To the east is the island of Borneo. To the southeast is the Indonesian Riau archipelago.

Modern Singapore was founded in 1819 as a British settlement. It was captured by Japan during World War II, and returned to British administration in 1945. Self-government was granted by the British in 1959, and in 1963, Singapore joined Malaysia. It was separated from Malaysia in 1965, and re-instituted as an independent republic. It subsequently became one of the world's most prosperous countries, with strong international trading links (its port is one of the world's busiest) and with per capita GDP above that of the leading nations of Western Europe. Singapore has a Westminster-style constitution. In practice, politics is dominated by the People's Action Party, which has ruled since Independence. The mode of government is perhaps closer to authoritarianism than true democracy. Paradoxically (for political scientists), Singapore has a highly successful, corruption-free, and transparent market economy.

Signapore's population is diverse. Chinese people account for 3/4 of the population. Malays are the second, and Indians are the third largest ethnic group. The official languages are Chinese, English, Malay and Tamil. Malay is also Singapore's national language Maybe if you are feeling pore I mean poor, you will want a Singapire budget hotel; or if you just want to save cash, I feel poor allot of the time.
