Stefania Passaro (Rapallo, 11 December 1963) was a basketball (basketball player) in the period between 1978 and 1995.
With the role of the center has played for 17 years in Italian and in the most renowned teams of Series A female (A. S. Gymnastics Comense 1872 and Sports Association Vicenza) contributing important measure their successes. She stopped playing in 1995 as a result of an accident.

Stefania Passaro began playing basketball in 1975,
when she was 12 years old, in Rapallo Basketball team (Series B).
At 15 years, in 1978, she joined Perugia in Series A, and the National Women Under 16, with which she won the silver medal at the European Championships in Hungary category.
At 17, in 1980 she debuted with the National Senior team coached by Bruno Arrigoni in the European Championships in Banja Luka and Maglay (Yugoslavia). Since then continuously play in the National Championship and the series A until 1994.
She won 10 league championships, 6 Champions Cup, 5 Italian Cups, 178 matches with the Italian blue shirt, the 6 European Championships (1980, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989 and 1993), a World Championship (1990), 3 qualifying tournaments at the Olympic Games and participation in the Olympics (XXV Olympiad, Barcelona, 1992).
At 193 cm high, she was for years was the best player in the
Italian league in her role. Equipped with agility and good "hand" even
from behind the three-point line, it was almost infallible for free shots. Particularly

published Sport and day (Ed. Promotion Center Image-Ancona), a collection of short

The WOA Italian named National Association in 2006 and Olympic Athletes Azzurri d'Italia (ANAOAI), it carries out promotion of the sport, with particular attention to sport and sport disabled women.
