Other lands which claim to have Celtic roots are Galicia, Cantabria, and the Asturians, of Spain. Also the French at times have claimed to be Celts as they are not German, as do Walloons. Added to this the Spanish in the north, and Portugal people. And of all, also the English, when they are saying the Germans who invaded them did not wipe out all the Celts in the 6th Century. But what is a Celt, well the original idea was that they were Iron Age people who moved from Central Europe, conquered the areas, then were pushed too margins by Roman rule, and Germanic invasions. Now historians are sure there is massive doubt about the Celtic racial theory, as it seems unlikely the Celts could have launched genocidal conquests, and even possibly unlikely they were a ruling aristocracy. Added to this the Germanic invasions do not seem after all to have been as thorough as once thought, and also saw bigger emigration to other parts of the world too. And Germanic people were related too, to the rest of the world. And throughout history Gypsies, Jews, rival Celts, Africans, Roman imperial soldiers, and even other nations have emigrated into these populations, making that change, So the general view is that the Celtic race idea is not true, except to a tiny extent, that is too hard to decide about, and if it is true, most of us have non-Celtic blood, that makes us less Celtic than many so called English, French, and others, So what is a Celt, well I feel the correct definition, is British people who are not English, plus some other nationalities, who want to join this club. That may seem unfair on English people, but they have never called themselves a Celtic nation, and in a sense all nationalities were formed as just not being other nationalities, or because other nations made that mix angry and have to amalgamate. But if they move to the Celt lands, they can be considered Celts, too, or be Celt if they have some other connection.or like those people in Glastonbury, I also put the Shetland and Orkney Islands, in the Celt lands, as they are just as much Celtic as people from Anglo-Saxon Lothian, or Viking Aberdeenshire. So thats that the word Celt is a term, used by Britain, to refer to people outside England. Plus Cornish people, as they are a Celtic language, and Manx, as they are too, as that is what Celts recentest history was. So Celts are people within the Celtic mixed up varied units. I mean there is no doubt the Cornish, Manx, and Gaelic, Breton, and Welsh languages are connected. But the other people added to this are the Spanish people's who claim to be Celtic, as they spoke Spanish yehh, I know, but consider the 4.2million as Celts too, as loads of them want to be. And there is no doubt that Galicians include people who lived underthe Romans, and had a Celtic language, I mean apparently then, Added to this Celtic nationalists are often anti-establishment left wingers, who would like to ally to 3rd world anti-colonial people. So in this sense Celtic identity is just people in 3 large European countries who are on the geographical fringe to their capitals. But some Australians, Canadians, and New Zealanders would like to be considered Celtic. But they are majority English really, and so are not. As surely a Celtic nation is one that considers itself Celt, not just a Bit. Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

So here is a list of Celtic lands. I.E lands that most people in the country are called Celtic by their leaders in terms of culture.

Scotland 5million people Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

Ireland 4 million

Britany 3.9million including a million or so in the place Nantes is in, called Loire Atlantique, really part of Brittany,

Wales 2.9million Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

Asturias 1million a bit Celtic culture Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

Cantabria 0.5million, a bit Celtic culture,

Galicia 2.7million, very much consider themselves a Celtic land at times.

Manx 0.15million

Cornwall 0.25million Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

Ulster 1.5milion

West Devon 0.06million, Somerset, and Dorset also have claims to be Celt but I bet less so, and Cumbria, and Devon. Cumbria's markets counting system has numbers using old Brythonic words, with numbers which are very similar to Welsh.

As they do not think they is. but if so that would add on 2.7million people. Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

Cape Breton island in Nova Scotia, 0.146million

Chubut valley, Argentina 0.004million Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland Canada, 0.23million, Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

So the main decider of what makes you Celtic is if you think you are. And celebrating ancient Celtic lands history. Which includes recent immigrants. Which means there are 22.2 million people living in lands whose cultural leaders consider their land massively Celt. Not including those in the English areas verging on thinking of themselves as Celtish. Of the places in India, that have very Welsh titles in their languages as of missionaries, they are not Celtic, as the people there do not consider themselves so. Not even half of them do. Of New World colonies, the best case was Nova Scotia, but according to polls, most in that land consider themselves Canadians. You can not claim Canada, is Celtic, most people would claim 1066, and the French nation, as Canada's heritage as much as they do Scotland, so sadly no province in Canada, is that Celtic, but lots of Canadians think of themelves as partly Celtic. What is certain is that I can not claim Australia, and NZ are Celtic, as most people there are English etc.. Except the above listed. 10 Largest cities in Scotland oThe 10 Largest Cities in Ireland

I pronounce these places Celtic land. The Republic of Celt land units, for short Celt land. Look at http://www.lonympics.co.uk/

The republic shall never surrender. It will welcome immigration, and be a socialist state. It does not even know the meaning of the word surrender. It does not even know, if you showed it a dictionary with "surrender", it would say ehhh, what are you talking about, I have never heard of that word, and do not understand, the meaning and definition are incalculatable to me.
